Fredericksburg BREW Exchange was founded by two veterans (Mike Moore and Mike Ellis). Mike Moore’s son orignally came up with the idea and after seeing growler-filling stations throughout other towns in Virginia and across the country, we recognized that our community was missing this very valuable service. Thus, we decided to found our very own craft beer store and filling station. We provide 16 draft beers at any given time and numerous bottled and canned craft beer. To house our operations, we restored a great two story 1890s building to historical standards. Our family moved to Fredericksburg over 10 years ago. We have been fortunate to get to know our community over that time.
Within the past 3 years, almost 10 breweries have opened in the greater Fredericksburg area, and there are more than 150 in Virginia alone. Our goal is to be involved with our community and introduce others to the craft beer scene!
