The West Rib Pub & Grill is named after the one of the more difficult routes to the summit of Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley), the tallest mountain in North America at 20320 feet or 6194 meters. We are located in the heart of beautiful downtown Talkeetna, 120 road miles North of Anchorage, and home to the Denali National Park Mountaineering Office, making it the hub of all climbing activities within the park. Each year over 1200 Mountaineers travel to our town to attempt an ascent of Mt McKinley; and many of them celebrate here after their climb !!
