Ce n’est pas par hasard si les propriétaires ont choisi le nom du restaurant ainsi. L’année fait un joli clin d’oeil à l’élection du premier conseil municipal de Magog en 1855. De son côté le terme « taverne » décrit parfaitement l’ambiance décontractée que souhaitent créer les propriétaires soit un lieu rassembleur, accessible, accueillant et sans prétention pour tous.
Le chef Éric Garand vous promet que : « Tout est cuisiné maison, en utilisant des produits locaux de hautes gammes. Ceci inclus quelques uns de mes plats classiques et connus par nos clients!» La sommelière d’expérience, Jinny Dufour, s’assurera que la sélection des vins sera choisie méticuleusement afin de bien s’agencer avec le menu du jour.

One might wonder about the unusual name chosen for the restaurant. The owners have decided to highlight the year in which was held, the first municipal council of the town of Magog, 1855. As for the word, « TAVERNE », it describes perfectly, the casual atmosphere that the owners wish to create. It will be a warm place to gather, accessible to
all and without pretentions.
The chef Éric Garand, promises : « Every item on the menu is prepared in house while using carefully selected high quality local products. The menu will include some of my classics already praised by our clients! » The experienced sommelier, Jinny Dufour, will ensure that the wine selection is meticulously chosen to match the daily menu.
