Feckin Irish Brewing Co
Feckin Brewery is the brainchild of Mark, Gabrielle, and Dave Maher. Both Mark and Dave have home brewed for a number of years. Dave underwent his first fermentation project in Dublin, Ireland where he attempted to make wine- however it was always consumed before it ever reached its full and final potential.
The word "Feckin" comes from a small town in Ireland that Dave and Gabrielle, Dave's wife, frequented in the 1970's. The pubs in the town of Feckin were where Dave thought up the name for his Irish inspired brewery. Dave brewed a small batch of what would become his first Feckin Pale Ale ...

Trails End Saloon occupies the historic structure built circa 1880-1885 as Freytags Grocery. Today's parking lot was a residence for the original occupant.
An old tunnel still exists below which was used to transport freight brought up and down river by sternwheelers. An underground entrance led from this building, under the parking lot and down to the nearby Willamette River. Local folklore describes "other" uses for the tunnels in the old days, best left to the imagination.
