We moved to the Willamette Valley in the spring of 1998 in the pursuit of creating great Pinot Noir, as well as nurturing an environment where our family could thrive. We believe in working sustainably with nature in the development of our vineyards and in the production of our wines. We are truly a Family Owned and Operated estate through the management of our own vineyards organically, producing our own sustainable wines and building our authentic brand. The Coleman estate wines are predominantly produced from vines planted 25 years ago, expressing vines that have adapted to the dramatic marine-influenced microclimate with volcanic and sedimentary soils, deep roots, and gnarly trunks that often face down Pacific coastal wind and storms. The wines are fermented in small lots, influenced by the growing season and grape profiles.
