barrel + beam is a brewery solely focused on crafting world-class farmhouse and barrel-aged real ale. Our name reflects the intersection of Old-World process with New-World taste and premium ingredients.
Located in Marquette, Michigan, on the shores of the world's greatest lake, Lake Superior, barrel + beam looks forward to bringing its unique and distinct ales to the Upper Peninsula and the Upper Great Lakes Region.
The former Northwoods Supper Club will be renovated and re-envisioned into the barrel + beam brewery and tasting room. Opening fall 2017.
Dance Zone Marquette
Dance Zone has arguably the best dance floor in Marquette. We teach all types of social dancing: Ballroom, Square, Contra, International and even have fun family evenings and classes. We bring in at least one live ballroom dance band per month (on a Saturday) and a contra band during the academic year on Fridays (one Friday per month). Our prices are low ($20 for a four-week dance class) and the place is just fun!

Huron Mountain Bakery
Over 15 years ago, John and Darci Scheidt took over the Donut Hole. They started out with only a small selection of donuts, breads, muffins, and bagels that they made themselves each morning.
Now, the business has expanded beyond their dreams. Huron Mountain Bakery offers the best in baked goods. Not only do we still make those same goods from years ago, we continue to bring on new products. We now have cakes and cupcakes, sandwiches, and offer brick oven wood fire pizzas at our Ishpeming location.

As a microbrewery, our focus is on providing a wide variety of beer styles in addition to fostering the local interest in the brewing of craft beer.
