The Caribbean Club was established in 1938 by auto parts and real estate promoter Carl Graham Fisher as a modest man's fishing club. In 1947, the Caribbean Club became famous as the filming location for the famous movie Key Largo.
Locally owned and operated by the Whitehurst family since 1963, the Caribbean Club is one of the last relics of Old Key Largo. It boasts live music Thursday through Sunday nights, daily happy hours, and a dog friendly atmosphere. Both locals and tourists are at home in this watering hole filled with memorabilia from the Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall classic Key...
