Surrounded by gardens and steeped in history, the cottage was built as the residence for the managers if the horse and jockey inn just across the road. The butcher's shop at the top of the garden path has been converted into a nursery shop, adding to the garden's charm.
Home of Cool Country Cuisine, this unique little cafe also operates as the community postal agency and old world corner store with locally made preserves and crafts. IOna is set amid blossoming gardens with all manner of nursery products available for the keen gardener. There's a lot of fascinating historic information for history buffs as well.
