The Crescent Brewery LLC was founded in 2009, giving rebirth to the Crescent name and giving Nampa the first brewery to operate within the city for almost 60 years. The Crescent name was chosen because of it’s significance to the local community and for it’s inspiration as a locally owned and operated brewery. Beer and Idaho are a natural fit. Idaho is the second largest barley-producing state and is home to the nation’s third-largest hop growing region…less than 15 miles from the brewery’s current location. The founders of the Crescent Brewery LLC (including two Nampa, Idaho native sons) strive to produce high quality brews in a number of styles for the Treasure Valley market using local ingredients, local ingenuity, and local pride
