Waterfront Fish & Chip Shop & Takeaway

The Waterfront fish and chip shop and takeaway is located in Broadford, Skye, on the A87 just 7 miles from the Skye bridge - on the way to the Fairy Pools, Elgol boat trips, and the rest of Skye’s breathtaking locations. Nick and Fiona and their team have run the chippy for over 5 years and we have gained an outstanding reputation for our fish and chips with both locals and visitors.
With stunning views over to Applecross and Lochcarron, it’s the perfect place to stop. We serve fish and chips from lunchtime onwards, as well as a full range of freshly prepared snacks from early morning. This includes breakfast rolls, homemade soup and cakes, toasties and filled rolls - and don’t forget our great coffee!
We make our traditional thick chips freshly everyday on the premises, to complement the best quality fresh and “frozen-at-sea” fish, all from sustainable stocks.
We aim to provide locally sourced food where possible, freshly prepared and fairly priced. Whether you’re after that traditional Scottish fish supper, a hot bacon roll to start your day, or choosing from our generous rolls & homemade cakes, make sure to visit the Waterfront during your visit to Skye.
