The Workshop
The Workshop is a local family business where you will find a comfortable relaxed and unique environment that feels like a home from home.
The business consists of three different aspects:
1. The Tea Rooms/ Café Experience
With plenty of comfy seating we set out to provide our customers with excellent quality local products served in a relaxed atmosphere. This ranges from delicious gourmet sandwiches made with local fresh produce, gluten free soups and cottage pies, locally baked desserts and freshly roasted Badger and Dodo coffee beans sourced in beautiful East Cork. We aspire to echo the service of the good old days and so we serve our extensive variety of teas in antique and vintage fine bone china.
2. Antiques and Vintage
We've taken a backwards approach to the phrase “out with the old in with the new” in that you’ll mostly find vintage and antique furniture and items for sale within the store. We lovingly paint and restore some of these pieces so that they can be up-cycled and reused in the homes of today.
3. Community
A place where people can gather is the final aim of The Workshop, we are in the process of setting up weekly book clubs, a cinema club (where you choose the movie), art classes, weekly demonstrations and much much more.
