Do you meet the MOVIDA franchise requirements and have what it takes to be a MOVIDA franchisee? If you do, you will then need to go through a streamlined application process.
STEP 1-
Submit your application by filling in the application form. This submission, however, does not bind you or MOVIDA in any way. It is simply the first step to ensure that both parties will be happy to form a relationship through a franchise agreement.
STEP 2-
If we believe in your potential to be a franchisee after reviewing your application carefully, we will arrange an interview with you. It will cover your background, goals, financial status and interest in MOVIDA.
If there is a mutual interest to move to the next step, we will arrange an On The Job Evaluation (OJE) for you. You will need to physically work in a MOVIDA outlet for three to five days. The OJE gives you a better idea of what MOVIDA is all about while allowing us to observe your hands-on suitability.
STEP 3-
If all is well, you will begin a formal training stint with MOVIDA for approximately 1 month. This comprehensive training programme will prepare you in all aspects of operating a MOVIDA outlet and help us evaluate your potential as a franchisee.

• 1. Complete the MOVIDA franchise application form
• 2. We’ll assess your application and qualify that you have sufficient funds
• 3. Select your location and premise
• 4. Organise a lease and franchise agreement
• 5. Submit your franchise and lease agreement and place a 10% deposit
• 6. Sign lease and franchise agreement
• 7. Outlet fit out, renovation, construction and training
• 8. Cleaning and equipment installation and final dry run
• 9. Final training assessment
• 10. Open for business!
Finding the perfect location: our tips
There are many factors to consider when opening a MOVIDA franchise.
It’s a good idea to select a location that gets a lot of passing traffic and prominence. Is it a high exposure area? Is it close to public transport, or is car parking and valet facilities available?
Next, consider the demographics of the area – are they students, office workers, family or elderly?
Then, you should consider the local competition. Does the area have many other outlets selling similar products? Will it be difficult to compete? What are your competitors pricing and promotional strategies?
Finally, you must consider the rent. Is it reasonable? Is it comparable to other similar sized outlets in the area? We recommend that the size of the outlet should not be smaller than 3500 square feet (internal space) and not smaller than 1500 square feet (external terrace space)
