Growing up on a farm in Northeast Louisiana, food was always the element that brought people together, and Mamoo is famous for her southern, home-style cooking. My mom, Mamoo as she is lovingly known by her grandchildren, has been feeding her community for over 50 years from her dining room table. People just "happen to drop by" Mamoo's house around lunch time just to see what's cooking.
