Created in 2001, The Demitasse Café became known as a cozy place to have lunch, whether it is for casual diners, business meetings, or students needing a place to get away to study. The Demitasse made a name for itself in Thibodaux, Louisiana, the home of the panini—an Italian-style grilled sandwich. Over the years the menu has expanded to include a full breakfast, dinner items, and appetizers. Customers can also enjoy the wide variety of café items, including lattes, cappuccinos, and iced or blended coffee (and non-coffee) drinks! The Demitasse is now located at 6815 W. Park Ave. in Houma, Louisiana, in a freshly-renovated building that allows plenty of room for diners to enjoy the atmosphere that is reminiscent of the original Demitasse. For those customers who may not have the time to dine in, phone orders can be placed and picked up at our convenient drive-up window. We look forward to meeting new customers, whether it is for a full meal or a quick beverage!
