Barney’s of Bookham is under new ownership. Local Bookham resident, Andrew Schofield has followed in his son Jesse’s footsteps by entering the world of hospitality. Jesse Schofield’s culinary skills have influenced how his father approaches this new venture with simplicity, freshness, quality and speed the keys to ensuring customers leave happy and return for more.
As well as excellent coffee, Barney’s offers a range of ready-made fresh sandwiches, a selection of delicious pies and sausage rolls, pastries and cakes from handpicked suppliers, and the “best” ham, tomato and cheese toasties on the highway. The menu is expanding to include breakfast, hamburger, chips and other options including vegetarian and vegan.
Located on the Hume Expressway 20 minutes west of Yass on the way to Gundagai, Barneys is the ideal stop for those travelling Adelaide to Sydney, Albury to Goulburn or Wagga to Canberra. It is open five days a week 7am to 5pm.
