Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12pm-6pm, April - October.

Known for its cherries, Mosier is also uniquely suited to grow quality wine grapes. Well-draining soils of sand and cobble stones litter the terrain of our site, which is predominately south-facing. This property in Mosier is our home base, where we have planted red varieties and recently completed construction of our winery. In addition, we continue to farm the Atavus Vineyard near White Salmon, Washington. The vines of Atavus are nearly fifty years of age, perched on a south-facing slope at 1700 feet, and produce Gewürztraminer and a distinctive Pinot Noir. We also co-farm the Oak Ridge Vineyard near Husum, Washington, where Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grows.

The Analemma
The analemma is a figure 8 shape of the Sun’s annual migratory path between the northern and southern hemispheres as seen from the Earth. This pattern is caused by the tilt of the Earth’s axis and is a visual cue of the Sun’s movement through the calendar year.

What The Analemma Means To Us
The analemma’s shape is similar to the symbol of infinity. We draw inspiration from this image of “boundlessness” or “beyond calculation.” Joy, love, and a smile convey immeasurable essences that bring depth and enjoyment to everyday life. Our experience reveals that pleasure derived from wine also falls into this unquantifiable category. Beyond ambitions for numerical acclaim or chemical perfection, our wines are created foremost as expressions of the place in which they are grown. The analemma’s shape is also different in every location on earth, becoming a fingerprint of place. This resonates with us as we attempt to uncover the distinct terroir of each wine.
