Too Cute To Puke is a monthly club night where we bring the girls to the front and play strictly female fronted tunes. Anything goes; sixties girl-groups, yé-yé, punk, indie pop, rock, soul, new wave, post-punk, twee, riot grrrl, indie pop, ska, diy – as long as it's sung by a girl we're putting it on.
Too Cute To Puke also only books female DJs to encourage more girls to bring out their record collection and take their place in the male-dominated world of DJ-ing and club promoting.
Apart from our own night we've played records at NYC Popfest, How Does It Feel To Be Loved, Twee As Fuck, Feministisk Festival, Upset The Rhythm, London Popfest, Dance Magic Dance, Big Pink Cake and Baby Honey as well as clubs in most major cities in Sweden.
