Located on the beautiful Peconic Riverfront in the heart of Downtown Riverhead, Joe's Garage and Grill promises to please any crowd. Regardless of which entrance you may choose, visitors are greeted by authentic decor, historical memorabilia from our community, as well as hand-painted murals from floor to ceiling. From the blueprints to the finishing touches of hanging pictures, placards and freshly drawn chalk boards - we owe our unique aesthetics to none other than our very own family members; each of which contributed their own special talents to the creation of this restaurant we call, Joe's Garage and Grill.
Built by hand with love, it is no surprise that same love and attention to detail continues when you enter our kitchen. Generous portions of East End comfort food will have you leaving full and racing back when you're empty. We're all about 'homemade' here at Joe's and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver dishes from scratch at affordable prices. Each member in our kitchen uses their unique culinary background to take East End comfort food to a whole new level, incorporating authentic and diverse flavors, using quality cooking techniques. Did we mention that Joe's Garage and Grill specializes in the craft of meat curing and smoking? That's right; all of the meats used at our restaurant are cured and smoked in-house all year long. We've dedicated our time and effort to creating a menu with dishes that we're proud to say were chosen by people just like you. Prior to opening our doors in March of 2014, our taste testers consisted of just about anyone who wanted to try our food. "There's always something cookin' at Joe's" and it's always real food for real people.
Don't forget to fuel up at the bar -- From detailed cocktails and mocktails, to our carefully chosen local craft beer and wine selection; our bartenders always do a custom job! Choose to hang out at the bar inside or bring the good times outside. Garage doors open up to our heated patio, creating a unique scene that meld our inside and outside dining areas together for the perfect marriage between the Garage experience and classic East End waterfront ambiance.
No garage would be complete without live music flowing through it. We fully support local musicians by offering an eclectic selection of live music several nights a week. Catch the best of Long Island's bands and solo artists suspended in the air on our custom-built car lift stage for everyone to see and hear.
Our community means a lot to us, as we've been given a warm welcome into it. This is why Joe's Garage and Grill assists in the support of East End businesses by preferring to use as many local ingredients as possible. We believe firmly in the "farm to table" concept. Our participation in local festivals, fairs, fundraisers, charity and awareness events have brought us even closer to our Riverhead and North Fork neighbors, and it is with great excitement that we continue our involvement with a community that many of us also call home.
