Located in the heart of downtown Walla Walla in the historic Kennedy building, our tasting room houses both Henry Earl & Russell Creek wines.
Dick and Wendy Shaw created Henry Earl Estates to commemorate the lives of their fathers, Henry Shaw and Earl West. As vineyard owners in Washington State for over 30 years, they bring experience and knowledge of all aspects of the wine making process from vine to bottle. The Shaws are dedicated to creating amazing wines that highlight the unique qualities of Red Mountain. We believe that great wine begins with exceptional vineyards.
Established in 2001, Red Mountain is Washington's smallest AVA and is located in the southeast corner of Washington state near the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco and Richland).
Characterized by sandy loam soil high in calcium and good drainage Red Mountain produces superior wine grapes in several varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet franc, Syrah and Sangiovese.
