Ben’s Wine and Tapas bar is the latest addition to the Ben’s Farm Shop umbrella. We’ve always taken our wine seriously but being a farm shop, steeped in all things local, it’s hard to show our full credentials.
We want to introduce you to new and exciting wines from around the world at fair prices that represent the wines real value. The quality of what you get in your bottle makes exponential leaps from supermarket entry level prices but once you get to a certain point it seems as though you’re paying for a name and not much else. Hunt's Cider
The Hunt Family have been making cider in South Devon since 1805. We can still be found at Broadleigh Farm today and still use the orchards that have nestled in this area for more than 200 years.
Sharpham Wine and Cheese
Sharpham Parnership Ltd originally starting making cheese in 1981 from the 18th century coachyard creamery of Sharpham House, on the 550-acre Sharpham Estate. The estate is nestled in a sheltered position, on the western banks of the River Dart two miles downstream of the ancient market town of Totnes in South Devon, and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our cheeses are unpasteurised and are made with vegetarian rennet. The Barrel House Ballroom
In the heart of Totnes, the Barrel House occupies a prime position, which overlooks both the High Street and Totnes Castle - providing a unique setting with a wonderful, warm atmosphere.
