Kava: What is Kava? Kava is a traditional south Pacific drink known for its relaxing and mellowing effects. Kava is derived from the roots of a pepper plant that grows in Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, and Hawai'i.
Kava is also a ceremonial and spiritual drink used to create bonds, agreements, settle disputes, and welcome visitors.

New visitors are always welcome and will receive one free shell of Nakamal just for trying kava. Bring your friends in and let us teach them about kava, get a free shell, and share in their discovery of kava and Bula. Group bowls are available at a discounted price for everyone! We also can provide bowls for parties. Bring in your own container and we'll fill it up for you!
There is a large range of bulk, powdered leaf and root products available and we will provide you with directions to make the product work for you at home. We have extracts, capsules, and a ground kava kit complete with strainer and your own shells for home use!
We serve many different botanical teas used for a variety of different purposes that enhance your mood, relieve anxiety, and promote general wellness in a 100% natural way. There are no added chemicals or preservatives in our products! We even offer sweeteners made with pure cane sugar to add to our delicious products.
Bula Kafe is available for party rentals as well. You can bring your own food to enjoy on our covered deck, and we will provide your group with refreshments! Call to reserve the area for birthdays, holidays, or any celebration today.
