Concept:
Brito’s is an idea for a café/restaurant which sells a wide variety of fresh, healthy-style foods and beverages. Brito’s philosophy is to provide fresh, healthy, and unique meal options for persons seeking a nutritious and balanced experience away from home for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Eating at Brito’s is a lifestyle choice: eat better, feel better, be better! We are primarily targeting the busy, health-conscious working Barbadians (primarily residents in the Warrens and the West Coast area) who have little time to allocate for breakfast or lunch but would still appreciate the availability of healthy options to support their active lifestyle.
Menu:
The menu is fresh, healthy, and tasty, incorporating around-the-globe influences and flavours representing the diverse background of the founders, all with a Caribbean twist. The five main elements of Brito’s offerings include: (1) a juice bar including smoothies and shakes and featuring fresh fruits and vegetables; (2) a salad bar; (3) wraps and lean sandwiches/paninis; (4) specialty dishes and (5) Barista-style drinks. A grab-and-go selection of juices, salads, and specialty dishes and snacks will also be featured.
Decor:
Working professionals all share something alike, which is a feeling of being in the “in crowd”. Brito’s décor will be modern, trendy, clean, and funky, to appeal to the “in crowd”. The décor will focus on the grab and go options to attract the busy clientele around. Utilising wood and green accents induces the feeling of earth, nature, and cleanliness, all elements we are trying to display when customers enter our shop. Interior – our artwork on the walls will reflect the core “eat --- fit” philosophy. It will feature the health benefits of utilising some of our main ingredients and/or present a workout and nutrition plan for example, making it unusual but educational. The restaurant will have an atmosphere that also encourages business lunches and after-hour limes (wine and cocktails).
