Everyone knows the best place in Schuylkill County to meet with friends or family, discuss over business or fun: Dunkin Donuts, on either end of the great city of Pottsville!
We've all seen the recent remodeling done to both locations. Its even been quoted from one of the higher ups at Dunkin Donuts that they are among the nicest stores in the chain. The most recent remodeling, done at Rt. 61 Pottsville, has included an upgrade to the dining room, capable of seating as many as 106 people, the largest in the country.
The stores have been owned by the Bower family for over forty years Businesses were first started by husband and wife, Joe and Judy Bower and brother Richard Bower. The family also owned the Kentucky Fried Chicken, located next to Dunkin Donuts on Rt. 61. Since starting in 1976 the stores have enjoyed growing with the city. Serving many great locals and passer bys. In 1993, Joe and Judy's son, Jason entered the business. Now he is head of operations in all three locations here in Pottsville.
The Bower family would like to thank all customers, workers and fellow businesses for the support, and acceptance into this great community, over the 40+ year run. It sure has been fun!
