The Sentry, is an events venue and restaurant like no other in the Port Elizabeth area. Set in the lush greenery and unspoiled natural beauty of the Eastern Cape, the Sentry by Mantis is the ideal haven for any dining or world class event experience.
THE SENTRY EVENTS VENUE:
The Sentry boasts beautiful contemporary architecture and versatile design with the location lending itself to both larger formal events (hosting up to 200 guests), and small intimate gatherings (from birthdays to bachelorettes).
The floor to ceiling sliding doors and windows allow for clients to take in the smells and noises of nature, and boasts unique and magnificent views over the pristine Eastern Cape bushveld, framed by contemporary architecture and design. The venue opens out onto an outdoor boma area, ideal for cocktails and canapes or lawn games. This offers a unique additional entertainment area.
The Sentry provides 5 star style, with a decadent but relaxed ambiance with unique cliff views framed by contemporary eco-architecture. Hopewell Conservation Estate enjoys a long-standing relationship with the Mantis group, a family-run collection of award-winning, privately-owned, five-star properties, boasting the very same world class service, quality and style.
With various private property options on site, the bridal parties can suit up and style up peacefully, while the newly married couple can enjoy their first evening in the Mantis suite on site.
Whether it is a birthday celebration, private function, vehicle launch, party or conference the Sentry and Hopewell Conservation Estate has many options available.

THE SENTRY RESTAURANT:
The Sentry exclusive restaurant, located next to the events venue, offers a separate private dining experience and is run by the world renowned Mantis group, offering exceptional service and ground breaking cuisine.
Pop in for a decadent cappuccino or dining with a difference, or join us Wednesday to Sunday 08:00-16:00, for our trails combo deal which includes access to the trails as well as an early bird breakfast or breakfast bun, for only R60 per person.
Alternatively, splurge on a three course fine dining experience at R150 per person, every Sunday between 12:00-15:00, with authentic cuisine and a new menu every week. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Bookings are essential.
