The Milk Bar -(noun) a simple restaurant, often with an open front, or a counter or booth where milk drinks, sandwiches, etc. are sold.
Exciting News: The Milk Bar will be opening on August 18, 2015!!! We are so excited Walnut Cove!
The Milk Bar will have a variety of food:100% certified angus beef, all beef hotdogs, specialty salads, shaved ice milk, and cakes galore. We will also have a nightly hot bar menu. Most of our items are house made. We hope you will enjoy some of our family recipes, such as our amazing chili, delicious deserts, vegetables, and much more! What is Shaved Ice Milk you ask? It’s not shaved ice. It’s not ice cream, nor is it frozen yogurt. It’s nothing like you have tasted or seen before. It starts with a large cylinder of iced milk. The iced milk is infused with delicious flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango, almond, and many more. Next, the block of iced milk is placed on the ice shaver with a razor thin blade. When the iced milk begins to spin, the result is layers upon layers of silky thin, delicate ribbons of iced milk. As amazing as it looks, the taste is even more mind-blowing. The cold, sweet, light, and creamy taste will instantly scramble your taste buds.
We are also excited to announce that we will offer breakfast beginning September 1, 2015 at 5:30am.
