The Grind Pembroke
The Grind Pembroke consists of a coffee house, a 3 bed homeless shelter and the Grind Client Services office.
The Grind Pembroke consists of many entities , there is a trendy café in downtown Pembroke that operates on a by-donation (pay what you can) policy, by a committed team of volunteers.
The Grind Coffee House offers hope, love, and community to homeless, displaced, and low-income clientele.
It offers various programs throughout the week which strives to provide clientele with hope and skills for life change.
Grind client services is located next door to the coffee house at 126 Pembroke St West this is the office and hub of the Grind Pembroke that also partners with and connects clientele to organizations in the community (e.g. Phoenix Center, Robbie Dean Family Counseling Center, Ontario Works, community mental health, First Step Options etc).
We are funded by community organizations, fundraisers, and donations.
We offer a 3 bed temporary homeless shelter in the back of the coffee house. If you need emergency shelter after business hours please call
