We have outside seating where you can be served food & drink throughout the day.
The Assembly bar is available to hire for free from 10 to 250 guests, buffet menu available, with live entertainment & a late licence. The perfect venue whatever the event.
We do now have Sky and the foreign box for all the Sunderland and Newcastle games. We also have a pool table, along with free Wi-Fi throughout the pub. We are the only pub in South Shields town centre with a pavement licence allowing us to seat up to 60 people outside which has sun all day round.
We offer out our function room free of charge and can cater for any kind of event. The function room can hold 250 people and has its own separate entrance, toilet facilities and fantastic bar.
As part of our new refurb we have introduced cask ales for the first time ever in the pub's history.
We have a central daytime draught offer on Fosters (£2.35), John Smiths (£1.95) and Strongbow (£2.35); all of these run apart from after 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
We are currently running a full menu with a two for £8.95 offer on selected dishes. Alongside the main menu we offer a breakfast menu until 12pm including bacon sandwiches and great freshly ground Italian coffee.
We have a great DJs on Friday and Saturday playing the best party music in town.
