HopCat - Minneapolis is a hub for craft beer in the heart of downtown. 80 taps, homemade food and our famous Crack Fries.
You don’t need us to tell you that Minnesota has always been a kick-ass beer state. What we can do, though, is be your one-stop tour of all that’s great and vibrant about the craft brewing scene in the Twin Cities and beyond.
We opened in the summer of 2017 at the base of Nic on 5th, right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis and with easy access to the METRO. When you set foot inside, or settle down at a table in our extensive outdoor dining section, your first challenge will be resist the lure of our famous Crack Fries – but don’t try too hard.
Next is choosing your first beer from our list of 80 drafts, about 30 of which are reserved for local delicacies. It’s a tough decision, and that’s why we train our staff to know the beer menu inside and out, so whatever your taste, you’ll find something perfect. Fans of Miller, Coors or Budweiser products should look elsewhere. Or, better yet: Come visit us and leave with a new favorite!
