Hoochie Coochie exists to be THE home for Black music in the North East of England. We are a venue devoted to Soul, Funk, & the very best in black music.
Hoochie Coochie is here to bring the best in live funk, soul, jazz, Northern Soul and much more in a cool bar with a relaxed atmosphere. With music from local, national and international bands, the Hooch aims to let you see the bands you love in an up close and personal way, and maybe introduce you to some new ones too....
When we don't have a live band playing, we'll still be playing the best Soul, Funk & Jazz in Newcastle. Entry will always be free before 10.00pm except when there is a live band playing .
Thursdays: See website for details. Live music or monthly Reggae or Disco nights.
Fridays: The best live artists from around the country & the world.
Saturdays Club Classics . The best Soul & Funk party in Newcastle.
Sunday . See website for details, different events each Sunday.
Any net profit made from Hoochie coochie will be donated to charities of our choice at the year end.
