Silver Spur Saloon is located in the former Eck's Saloon location at 9890 W. Girton Dr. In Lakewood. It's definitely been a labor of love to bring back the old glory of Eck's Saloon from its origins in the 1980's to its present rebirth as Silver Spur Saloon in 2016. We love to meet all the old locals and patrons of Eck's. Eck's meant a lot to a lot of people and we definitely want to keep the legend alive as Silver Spur Saloon. Southern Tier Brewing Company
Founders Phineas DeMink & Allen ("Skip") Yahn started the brewery in 2002 with the vision of bringing small batch brewing back to a region rich in brewing tradition.
The Brewery began distributing regionally in February 2003. By 2005 sales covered the majority of New York State and the eastern half of Pennsylvania. Since the beginning, Southern Tier has experienced steady growth, currently distributing to over 50% of the United States. Multiple expansions have been made to keep up with demand and the brewery continues to innovate and produce new products.

Teller's Taproom & Kitchen was designed and built to be your "Third Place." What is a Third Place? Well, there's the place where you live and there's the place where you work; the Third Place is where you want to go when you're not at the other two - a comfortable, community gathering place to pass some pleasant time with your neighbors and friends. Purchase tickets at The Empty Pint beginning each Saturday at noon. Visitors enjoy a guided walk through the brewery where it may be cold, hot, wet and noisy, and ends with beer samples in our tasting room overlooking the new brewhouse.
NOTE: Must be 21 years old to take the tour, no reservations, limit 20 people per tour. Arrive early for your best chance to reserve a spot. Tours sell out quickly. CLOSED TOE shoes are required.
