We are a small business with a big attitude about coffee. We take the time and care to prepare your drink the traditional way of hand pressing our espresso, hand steaming our milk to a silky perfection, and time our shots perfectly so your beverage tastes as rich as an Italian Cafe. We do not use automatic machine so please expect a longer wait time on your drinks. We do this because we know "life is too short for bad coffee."

Prison Brews opened its doors on April 7, 2008 on the historic east side of Jefferson City at 305 Ash Street in what is historically known as Landwehr Dairy. The original building is circa 1895.
