Hillside Brewery are a family owned and run business creating a range of traditional beers and one-off craft specials. We are passionate about beer and want to share that with others.
Hosting several brewery tours, brewing experience days and events there is something for everyone (even if you don't like beer).
Being a totally green company, run on ground source, air source, solar power and having our own bore hole water is a unique attribute for our brewery and we would love to meet you.

SALSA at Butlers - Gloucester
Salsa is a great way of meeting new people, keeping fit and having fun.
No experience is necessary, you don't have to bring a partner and you can visit without needing to book, just turn up and join in the fun.
If you have never danced before then no worries, 99% of people who come to our Gloucester Salsa Class have never dance before either. You will be eased in with a simple Absolute Beginners Salsa Lesson at 8pm with Salsa dancing afterwards.
When you are ready you can move up to the Improvers Class.

From the early days we at Gloucester Brewery have wanted our own bar, now with TANK we can cultivate a welcoming atmosphere as a platform to share beers. Beers that are local, beers from further afield, an environment for relaxing as well as an environment for the discussion and enjoyment of beer.

The Greyhound
The Greyhound Inn opened in 1985. It was the second pub in Gloucester to have been built by Banks's Brewery (Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries).
In common with the Haywain in Quedgeley, it used recycled bricks from the old Gloucester Infirmary in Southgate Street in its construction.
The name comes from the Gloucester Greyhound Track that was on the site of the pub and the adjoining housing estate.
