Firelands Winery, circa 1880, is located in beautiful Sandusky, OH. Our vineyards are located on North Bass Island (also known as Isle St. George) in the western basin of magnificent Lake Erie. It has the distinction as being among one of the only premium island winegrowing districts in the world with its own appellation, the Isle St. George American Viticulture Area, and the first official Ohio AVA.
