it is one of the first things that people ask - and the simplest answer is that a "Bluenose" is a person from Newfoundland, which is where my family's roots are.
� My name is Tim Yard Aylward and Bluenose Coffee is the result of my passion for the perfect brew. We purchase coffee beans from countries all over the world and roast them right here in our shop in Farmington, Minnesota. I believe there is a coffee for everyone - whether a light, medium, or dark roast - and my specialty is helping customers find exactly the taste they enjoy. In addition to the coffees we serve here every day, we have over 30 different varieties of coffee beans available that can be roasted the way you like for you to brew at home, as well as a wide variety of loose leaf teas.
