AFRO HOUSE HELSINKI fills the void in Helsinki club scene with a night full of deep, hot and soulful house music. Music is catered specially for the dancers and music lovers. Most of the music comes from South Africa, Angola and Portugal, but you can also expect array of soulful sounds from all over the world. The connecting mood in the music subtropical climate and deep soul.
Resident DJs:
SOUL SANNA is a musiclover, dj and dancer. She has rocked the dance floor in different club and dance events in Finland. Sanna is best known as member of Cleva dance collective as well as a Dj on the Bridge show on Bassoradio. For the past years her sets have graced for example Nordic Soul Festival, Afro Sunday, Abyss The House Dance Experience, Payback Jam, Urban Apa as well as several art exhibitions and pop up events. She deejayed also internationally in Sweden, Denmark and Italy.
DJ HERMANNI is known from the biggest Afrobeats club in Finland, Afro Sunday, the biggest Latin music party in Finland, Fiesta Latina and presenting the hottest club music from all over the world Boom Shakalaka Show @ Bassoradio among many other things. He has rocked the parties from Akaa to Zanzibar since 1999 and produces music for different artists from multi platinum selling hiphop stars to reggaeton, dancehall and afrobeats deep underground.
The Venue:
ALAKULTTUURITALO is a special place for underground culture located in the basement of a big high culture venue. It's a soulful home for the music and art submerging from the deep roots of Helsinki.
