The Somewhere Else Tavern is an ALL ORIGINAL MUSIC VENUE that has been around for many many years hosting some of NC's best bands.
The Tavern is the perfect place for young bands to start out and also host larger touring bands. Most shows are at the great price of 5 dollars.
Shows are only on Friday's and Saturday's

To the Artists- We are an ORIGINAL MUSIC VENUE. This means no cover songs, no samples from other songs, no samples or inserts from movies or television shows. You may only perform what you actually created on your own- so be original :)
Also, No artist may perform any material that is registered with BMI, ASCAP, OR SECAC >> Even if you wrote the material, you may NOT perform it in the venue. A Contracted Agreement will be signed by all Artists before the show to ensure they are reminded to play only non registered, original material.
