There is a fresh new management team running the Rowntree Park Reading Cafe.
Our mission is to bring a better service and experience to the York community.
Comfortable surroundings and lots of literature to read or borrow. Breakfasts, homemade food with children's portions available and of course delicious cakes. Child friendly and wheelchair accessible. Please note at busier times you may be asked to situate your pushchair in a specific area so as to maintain clear access. Dogs welcome on the terrace and we offer a full library service! We have a quiet day on Wednesdays during school term time, everyone is welcome but please respect other library users who may wish to enjoy a more subdued atmosphere.Room hire also available.
