Opened in Sept. 2003 and still growing...the "Moon" is a little neighborhood bar, but sees new folks from everywhere all the time. The backyard is like "Wonderland" and there's plenty of places outside to hang out with friends. The constant breeze makes it pleasant even on the hottest of days. The owner, Sheryl Brazell, is an ordained minister and can perform wedding ceremonies there as well. If you come to the Moon not knowing anyone, you will know at least 5 friendly folks by the time you leave; AND you will see something new and/or different each time you visit - we guarantee it!
Something is always happening at Neon Moon. Every Sunday, come have Laura's Bloody Mary Salad for Breakfast, then stick around for Open Mic, hosted by Chris Elliott from 4-8pm. You never know who you will see on stage, and new players drop by every week. Come relax in the backyard with your friends and support your local musicians! On Monday, it's Happy Hour all day and free pool too! On Wednesday, Chris Elliott (and guest?) does an acoustic gig starting at 6:00. Every other Thursday, it's Karaoke or Jonathan Mitchell,then on Friday we'll get your weekend started with drink specials, then get geared up for our dj spinning your favorite tunes. Saturday we have more drink specials, and probably a bike run or two coming through or a benefit going on. We keep serving the coldest beer in Texas till the early morning with a variety of Live Music including Zydeco, Classic Rock, Blues, Rock and a little bit of Country too every Saturday from 9p-1a.
