Muddy's began as Muddy Waters Cafe in the lower level of Liberty Street Commons in Downtown Wooster over 15 years ago. Dennis and Paula Tafoya purchased Muddy Waters from the original owners in 2005. They immediately began to open stores in the surrounding areas such as Orrville and Medina. They managed partnerships with the Cleveland Clinic and the JM Smucker Company as well.
