I believe in every woman's ability to birth in her own power and with her own spirit and style. I feel honored and lucky every time I am asked to witness a family grow!
Every woman's journey of birth is unique and so is every relationship between a mother and her doula. I often spend time teaching women about the normal physiology of birth or nurturing them with massage and wholesome meals. Some women really just need that grounded compassionate friend at their side in labor. Other times my services are centered around empowering the mother to communicate clearly with her care givers and navigate her choices around birth and motherhood.
One thing that's true for all the births I attend is the formation of a lifelong connection.
In addition to being a birth doula, massage therapist and midwifery student I also offer a handcrafted line of high-quality herbal remedies for mama and baby which I welcome you to peruse at my website.
I grow many of the herbs in these remedies in my little organic garden in the back of Palolo valley. They are all handmade in small batches with Aloha.
