Juniata Junction Restaurant

Imagine walking into a restaurant. As you walk through the doors, you may smell an aroma of home-cooked food. Glance at the walls and you will become lost in the area's history. Suddenly you are greeted by a friendly waitress. You are at the Juniata Junction, a popular restaurant in Juniata County. It is located off the Port Royal exit of 322 at the intersection with the blinking light at beside Valley Ag & Turf, across from Rutters and The First National Bank in what use to be Long's Auction building (owned by Raymond Long Sr. and Raymond Long Jr.). Juniata Junction is owned by Mike and Tammy Brackbill. Mike Brackbill and his six brothers were born and raised in Licking Creek. Tammy-Nipple Brackbill and her five brothers (a.k.a. the Spiglemyer's) grew up in Port Royal.
Juniata Junction has a unique atmosphere. The history on the walls range from pictures taken from the Port Royal Speedway to buildings that are or have been located in the Juniata County area. A person can learn a little bit of local history just by sitting at a table. The dining area is spacious and comfortable. Reservations are welcome, and on and off site catering is possible.
