CrazyCakeCafe is the Mid Ohio Valley's newest bakery that focuses on customized, made-to-order cakes and cookies.
The idea for our café was born in a restaurant known for its cheesecake. My daughter and I were trying to decide which dessert to choose and wished that we could mix and match some of our favorite flavors. We thought it would be great to have a restaurant similar to the frozen yogurt shops that would allow you to pick your cheesecake flavor and toppings of your choice. Over the next few months I kept thinking about the idea and thought “why not include all kinds of cake”. I was considering the name CrazyCakeCafe when I came across a depression-era recipe for Crazy Cake. I took it a as a positive sign and the café became a reality.
Although our focus is on producing single serving cakes with a flavor, filling and frosting of your choosing you may also purchase a larger version as well as order cakes for special occasions. Orders may also be made for cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies. The café also has space for larger group meetings or parties.
