The Bakers Arms offers great local food, real ales and fine wine. Features a large beer garden, off road parking, separate dining area, darts & pool table.
A two-bar roadside inn dating from the 17th century with a large stone-built beer garden added to the rear. This pub has just reopened after a comprehensive refurbishment aiming to satisfy both drinkers and diners. To the left is a lounge with a separate restaurant to the rear whilst to the right is a public bar - "the snug" - and behind that; a games room with a pool table and darts board. Two wood-burners supplement the ground-source central heating to which was a big feature of the refurbishment. The Bakers Arms offers great traditional British food made with fresh local ingredients, including high quality steaks, homemade burgers and a variety of specials.The meals feature home-baked bread from the bakery which has been added to the front of the premise and to which the pub's new name alludes.
