The Amsden
The Amsden building features a locally owned coffee shop, mercantile, and Shop Twenty Something boutique in downtown Versailles, Kentucky. Bourbon bar and yoga studio also opening this winter.
Originally the site of the Watkin's Tavern which burned in 1886, the Amsden bank building was constructed in 1890 and is one of the oldest buildings in downtown Versailles. The building has been a variety of businesses since the closing of the bank in 1931.
After years of neglect, the building is being meticulously renovated to restore much of its original character and create an anchor to the revitalization efforts in downtown Versailles. The new space will feature a locally owned coffee shop, mercantile, and bourbon bar.
