Now located in West Bend, IA, Dutch Country Apple Dumplings, Inc. was established in 1987 by Andrew Hamsher. Dutch Country originated as a small one man operation producing apple dumplings for a single local restaurant. As Andy's signature recipe became well known throughout the area, it joined the menus of several local eateries. In 1988, as the company continued to grow, Dutch Country moved to its current location at 229 West Market Street. Dutch Country introduced its homemade pumpkin rolls in 2005. As a result of such widespread acceptance of Dutch Country's quality homemade products, expansion became necessary in 2006, and again in 2007 to provide the manufacturing space required. In 2009 the expanded facility was renovated to increase production efficiency, allowing us to meet the ever growing demand for our products. In 2013 renovations were made to parts of the facility to enhance efficiency and to meet requirments for GFSI compliance.
Today Dutch Country's products are distributed all across the United States, not only under Dutch Country's label, but also under various private labels. Our product line has grown to include two varieties of homemade dumplings, and nine varieties of homemade cake rolls, as well as various other items. These products can be found not only in our own retail store, but in grocery stores, concession stands, restaurants, catalogs and fundraisers all across the country.

We are a simple, humble, and honest company, which strives to produce the highest quality cake roll and apple dumpling products available, all of which are 100% kosher. We take pride in the fact that we still complete many of our processes by hand, and we truly believe that when you taste our product you will understand why.
