The Matchart Cafe is a Japanese dessert shop founded in May 2015 with the purpose of introducing beautiful culture of Japan and its tasty green tea dessert to Cambodia. The word Matchart derived from Matcha (green tea) + Art. Matcha is a type of green tea powder, healthy and full of Vitamin C, obtained from grinding a type of green tea leaves called Zencha (Not: not all types of green tea can be called Matcha). Impressed by the tea tradition and taste of Japanese Matcha, we want all Cambodian people to taste this true Matcha from Kyoto, a traditional city of Japan. The word Art symbolizes the beautiful culture that we bring along with the beautiful library-style design of the shop. The Matchart Cafe is designed in a classic western concept full of books for literature lovers to enjoy their quiet reading time with beautiful taste of various kinds Japanese desserts and Matcha. On top of that, The Matchart Cafe also offers lots of unique and interesting drinks and desserts with ingredients imported directly from Kyoto, Japan. Our friendly and helpful staff are looking forwards to provide the best experience for all customers.
