Built in 1830 originally as a farm house, the building was the Plumes Pottery for many years. Today it’s known as the Old Potter’s Inn.

So why then visit the Old Potter’s Inn?

Well, in summer time, the restaurant overflows onto our front “stoep” where one may enjoy a cocktail from the bar, and lazily watch the village life pass by. Another alternative would be to relax in one of the courtyards, whilst admiring the water feature made from pebbles, and admiring the stars above.

And in winter time, the crackling fire and cosy pub invite you to venture inside and enjoy country cooking and the slower pace of life…
- it’ll quickly become your home from home, in the countryside!

There are also many restaurants in the close vicinity, as well as bird watching, fishing, a chocolate factory, the St. Andrews Church and the popular local craft market held in the village square from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays.

This 4* property offers the B & B option (rooms) and the cottages (self catering or B & B). The four cottages (either self catering or B & B), are set amongst the weeping willows and offer en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, queen size beds, lounge with fireplace and TV and a swimming pool outside.

The B & B offers 3 standard queen and 1 deluxe en-suite room that are situated above the dining room areas.

This B & B has retained the original walls and wooden beams and offers a cosy fireplace, lounge (DSTV) and a saltwater pool.
