Previously a prison dating back to the early 1600's, Jimmy Allens derives it's name from the most notorious character to be incarcerated during it's history.
In 1810 Jimmy the Gypsy Piper died within our walls, a pardon for his crimes arriving days later.
Whilst Jimmy could only dream of escape to a nearby alehouse, nowadays people flock in droves to our world famous bar, with hopes of hearing his ghostly pipes!
