The Thatch Lisselton

The Thatch Lisselton is a family run business based in North Kerry on the Wild Atlantic Way. Established in 1832, it is one of the few thatched bars remaining in Ireland. Four generations of the O Sullivan family operated the business up until June 2017 when John O Connor, Joanne and Elaine Riordan, Lisselton natives took it over. The old traditional style bar remains and features a welcoming open fire with an original pot and crane. A lounge and restaurant were added in 1993 whilst retaining the old traditional style.
