Down the Hatch was established in 2015 by three childhood friends from Georgia. After years of living in Maui, and working in the service industry, Javier, Dave, & Julian decided to open a restaurant/bar catering to the community and guests of this beautiful island with their own unique style of Southern Aloha!

MauiGrown Coffee
MauiGrown Coffee is the grower of 100% MAUI Origin coffee at the Ka‘anapali Estate near the historic town of Lahaina. The approximately 500-acre estate grows several varieties of Arabica coffees to suit a multitude of palettes. The theory of “quality from seed to cup” best describes the planning and operation of MauiGrown Coffee.

This oceanfront, open air sports bar’s food truck style kitchen offers an eclectic menu of local, contemporary twists on classic food truck favorites that highlight the farmers, growers and products of Maui.

We have over 250 whiskeys, 16 craft beers from all over the country, and amazing pub shared plates put out by Noah Stewart. We have a huge stage with new sound system and dance floor, 14 huge tv's, shuffle boards and 2 bars. The Dirty Monkey social media handle is @dirtymonkeymaui across the board.
